and the Middle East, focusing on banking, industry and
telecommunications.
Prior
experience:

Prior to becoming
senior program officer, Ramji
undertook
the program evaluation for the UN's Cultural Activities
Program at the United Nations
Office of Internal Oversight Services
in
Geneva. He developed new methods
to promote
efficient outreach and communication activities and worked
on various UN audits.

He worked with the Government of the
United Republic of Tanzania on a poverty reduction
communications strategy.

He worked
in the
Knowledge Communications department at the International
Institute for Sustainable Development, evaluating the World
Bank's Global Knowledge Partnership, co-published a paper
for the World Conservation Union on assessing partnership
networks, and developed a media strategy for UNESCO's Eighth
Conference of African Ministers of Education in Dar es
Salaam.

He worked in the Communications
department for the Organization of African Unity (now the
African Union), with the Aga Khan Development Network's
communications team in various capacities.

Completed a
consultancy with the Central Bank of Tanzania.

Communications and Negotiations and European Affairs at Maxwell.
